Sonny Sega - Chapter 1He turned the handle, pulled the door open, and stepped out into the landing. He was a boy, two weeks before his ninth birthday, wearing his oversized pyjamas. His dark brown hair, scruffy and neglected, hung over his dark eyes, which sparkled in the light. The boy playfully tapped the banister several times as he walked towards the window, at the end of the landing. The sky was pure black, dotted with white specks. The rows of cars parked down the street, were lit by the glowing orange of street lamps, and the houses with their curtains closed, were somehow reassuring.
